Many people have reached out to me and asked if there were some ways they could help the victims of the quake in Haiti from here in Japan...    I'm currently scouring the sites in Japanese to find one that has some easy to follow info, so those that wanna donate a few ¥en can do so...  

Again, the easiest way would be via the internet either through Paypal (http://goo.gl/tZfZ) or Google (http://sn.im/googhaitirelief).  Both have set up crisis donation minisites and will accept Paypal/Google checkout of course, and also credit cards.  

I'm looking for someplace here in Japan that will accept bank transfer payments or some sort of slip you can take to your nearest conbini and donate that way...  If you know of a way, please email me at editor@ranmagazine.com

Don't forget about our event, RockThisTown 2010: RAN/Rock/Relief.  Come on out and listen to Nag's best bands and get your charity on.  We will be selling some nifty RAN t-shirts, along with taking donations of all kinds; the RAN staff are putting together a care package that will be sent to Haiti through the Japan Red Cross.
