So now Family Mart, a chain of Japanese convenience stores, has joined the latest internet/social media craze 140 characters at a time.
Whoever said the Japanese wouldn't embrace twitter never lived in Japan. Folks 'round here bang out text messages on phones faster than i type on a full keyboard! And you can say a lot more in Japanese with only 140 characters; Kanji remember? It's like Twitter was made for this place. So if you ain't tweetin' now, you're missing out on the good stuff... like those Bleach rings they tweeted about a few days ago... 店長「卍回!」(ten-cho [store manager], Ban-KAI!!) or something like that!
